About Us . . .

Memphis Marsha's
Grand Opening & Chamber of Commerce Ribbon cutting was in September, 2002.
Longtime Bowling Green artist, Marsha Heidbrink, rennovated a one room, one
story building into a two floor 1,800 square foot mini art center. In its
previous lives, the building had been a diner & a dog groomer. Using the
building & the owner's time era, & her heritage from Memphis, Marsha
painted the place inside & out with visitor friendly colors: lime green,
coral, aqua, & magenta. None of that sterile white feeling for this place!
Cardboard images of "Elvis" & "Marilyn" peer out of nooks & crannies.
Studio work is done on red formica & chrome tables with a painted floor.
The kitchen boasts a neon flamingo clock, & a couple of 50's era lamps
with giggle-ugly shades complete the decor.
