About Us    .    .    .

Memphis Marsha's Grand Opening & Chamber of Commerce Ribbon cutting was in September, 2002. Longtime Bowling Green, KY artist, Marsha Heidbrink, rennovated a one room, one story building into a two floor 1,800 square foot mini art center. In its previous lives, the building had been a diner & a dog groomer. Using the building & the owner's time era, & her heritage from Memphis, Marsha painted the place inside & out with visitor friendly colors: lime green, coral, aqua, & magenta. None of that sterile white feeling for this place! Cardboard images of "Elvis" & "Marilyn" peer out of nooks & crannies. Studio work is done on red formica & chrome tables with a painted floor. The kitchen boasts a neon flamingo clock, & a couple of 50's era lamps with giggle-ugly shades complete the decor.

An Artful Adventure !

We were honored to be included in the Winter 07 issue of Arts Across Kentucky,  a statewide quarterly magazine.

We're keeping company with the likes of Ashley Judd, & other Kentuckians spotlighted in this edition. Bowling Green writer Dory Hudspeth both wrote & took many of the  photos for the feature. So check us out on pages 27-29! Bowling Green's Barnes & Noble Bookstore sold out of this issue; Marsha has a limited number of the magazines at the gallery.
